If you've mistakenly installed [MotionBoard for Salesforce] with the option Install for Admins Only, you need to reinstall the app to make sure it is available for, and usable by, normal users, and not just admins. To do so, follow the steps below.
Reinstall MotionBoard for Salesforce
- Login to Salesforce and go to the [Setup] page.
- Go to [App Setup] and select [Installed Packages].
- On the [Installed Packages] window, click the [Uninstall] button for [MotionBoard for Salesforce].
- Reinstall [MotionBoard for Salesforce] using your install URL and this time, select [Install for All Users] when asked.
Modify permissions so MotionBoard for Salesforce is accessible by non-admin users.
- Login to Salesforce and go to the [Setup] page.
- Go to [Administration Setup] - [Manager Users] and select [Profiles].
- Click the edit [Edit] link beside the profile you wish to grant permission to.
- On the [Profile Edit] window, under [Custom App Settings], look for [MotionBoard for Salesforce] and enable the checkbox named [Visible] next to it.
By doing so, you will be able to select [MotionBoard for Salesforce] from the Force.com application menu on the upper right corner of the window. - On the same [Profile Edit] window, go to [Tab Settings]. Under [Custom Tab Settings] look for MotionBoard and change the pull-down list value to [Default On].
This will display MotionBoard on the Tab. - Click the [Save] button.
- Go to [App Setup] - [Develop] and select [Visualforce Pages].
- Look for the item MotionBoardView and click the link [Security] to its left.
- Add normal users to the enabled profile list and click save.
